2008 has been Citroen's most successful year for winning industry awards. In total, Citroen have won 12 major industry awards, and thus, are clear leaders in the commercial van arena.

The judges commented, when awarding Nemo the coveted International Van of the Year, that Nemo was the first of a whole new class of van, slotting in neatly between hatchback car-derived light commercials and larger high-cube vehicles. In summary, the judges commented '' No matter which model you pick, we doubt you'll be disappointed, and with impressive fuel economy and low running costs, it's an icon for today.

What Van? commented that operators of Dispatch Van get to pick from two common rail diesel engines, both of which are bio-diesel friendly. They also remarked that access to the Dispatch's three-man cab is exemplary. Also, and in most cases, Dispatch is equipped with Trafficmaster's Smartnav satellite navigation system and Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking service.

With over 80 specially converted light commercial vehicles now available in the UK, the breadth of Citroen's Ready to Run programme is astounding, and market leading. This was the main reason why Citroen won the What Van? award against a highly competitive field. From chilled fridge conversions with Nemo to 17 seat Relay Mini-Bus - the list is endless.
